Co-Founder & CTO

Chief Neural Engineer

PRIORITY HIRE

Own the entire technical vision — from raw EEG signal acquisition to the AI models that decode cognitive states. You'll take our working prototype and turn it into a production-grade signal processing platform that connects to real BCI hardware.

Core Responsibilities

Architect the real-time EEG signal processing pipeline (BrainFlow → FFT → Band Power → Inference)
Integrate Web Bluetooth and BrainFlow for hardware-agnostic device connectivity
Build and train EEG foundation models for cognitive state classification
Design the streaming API (WebSocket) for sub-5ms latency cognitive data delivery
Establish signal quality metrics, artifact rejection, and data validation systems
Lead technical architecture decisions and build the engineering team

Ideal Background

PhD or MS in Neuroscience, Biomedical Engineering, or Signal Processing
Hands-on experience with EEG data acquisition and analysis (MNE-Python, EEGLAB, BrainFlow)
Strong ML/DL skills — PyTorch, real-time inference, time-series models
Production software engineering (Python, TypeScript, C++)
Experience with BCI devices (EMOTIV, OpenBCI, Muse, NeuroSky)
Published research in computational neuroscience (preferred)

Co-Founder & CPO

Head of Product & Developer Experience

Own the developer experience and product strategy. You'll design the APIs and SDKs that make brain-computer interfaces accessible to every developer — and build the go-to-market engine that turns technology into a business.

Core Responsibilities

Design and build the Neural OS SDK (React, Python, Unity) with world-class developer experience
Define the API architecture — RESTful endpoints, WebSocket streams, authentication, rate limiting
Build the developer portal, documentation, and onboarding experience
Own product strategy: prioritize features, define metrics, and drive user adoption
Establish partnerships with BCI hardware manufacturers and research institutions
Lead go-to-market for the developer platform and enterprise offerings

Ideal Background

Track record building APIs/SDKs that developers love (Stripe, Twilio, Plaid caliber)
Full-stack engineering with real-time systems experience
Product management experience at a developer tools company
Understanding of hardware-software integration and embedded systems
Experience building developer communities and ecosystems
Interest in neurotechnology and cognitive science

Founder & CEO

I've spent 15 years building financial infrastructure across Asia-Pacific — raising capital, structuring funds, and connecting global markets. I understand how to build businesses, navigate regulatory landscapes, and create value at scale.

But Neural OS needs more than business acumen. It needs someone who dreams in frequency bands, who sees a raw EEG signal and envisions the cognitive insights hidden within. Someone who can take our working prototype — the FFT pipeline, the band power extraction, the cognitive state inference — and connect it to real hardware, real data, real users.

I'm not looking for someone to execute a spec. I'm looking for a co-founder who will challenge my assumptions, reshape the technical vision, and build something neither of us could build alone.
